Working to gain mastery over the silverball to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles into submission has been quite a task for me and my fellow monks. Even Jampo, attracted by the colorful lights and upbeat music, has taken an interest in the game, resting his paws on the side of the cabinet while trying to follow the action.
One feature of the game that hit a little too close to home was the two ramp-mounted training plastics with the clear flasher domes. The light from the domes when illuminated was piercing and quite uncomfortable, much like when the Khenchen looks disapprovingly on me when I make a mistake in my vows or assigned task at the monastery.
Unlike Khenchen however, the power to make the training lights on TMNT more pleasing was within my power. And so, I removed the clear domes and replaced them with colored domes – first red, and then green to see which brought the most harmony to the lighting. I settled on green for my machine after Jampo barked when they lit up, but if I am being honest, red would have worked well also (but don't tell Jampo).
And now, I am making these single tab half dome flasher covers available to make your machine more pleasing and comfortable to play. Both red and green are available for purchase. Unfortunately, Jampo is not for sale at any price.
