TMNT Mode Light Bracket Set - 9 Inserts

After tackling the stark white Turtle Power insert to make it the turtle green it was destined to be, I decided that it was time to take off the sunglasses I had taken to wearing while playing the pin in the inky darkness of my spartan quarters and address the white dots all over the bottom third of the playfield. I had been telling my fellow monks that the inserts needed to be color-coded to match the rings around the inserts on the artwork. Eventually, they just kept chanting back to me the oft-heard proverb, “It is better once to see than many times to hear.” The message was received, they were tired of me talking about it and would rather I show them. And so, I set about doing just that. My resolve to fix this was accompanied by a crack of thunder in the distance. I do not believe it was a coincidence.

There are a LOT of plain white inserts for the modes, nine in all. Eight for the regular modes, and one larger insert for the Technodrome wizard mode. Given the size of the brackets it would require to cover them all, I broke them up into a set of two brackets – 4 inserts on the right, and 4 inserts plus the large Technodrome one on the left. They are tension-fit to the standoff posts on the circuit board so they will stay on while you re-install the circuit board with them attached.

Once installed, the two brackets impart an effortless “factory look” to any TMNT machine, providing the color and less-blinding light any fan of the turtles can appreciate.
