My wise mentor Lao Tsu has said, "From caring comes courage." Someone at Stern didn't care enough to color-code the mode lights so they matched the RGB arrows of each mode, which would make the game more harmonious. But you clearly care about this oversight and have the courage to fix it with this mod.

This durable frame holds colored lenses over the mode lights for Iron Maiden so they match the colors of each mode instead of being plain white. Installation is simple - remove the existing light board, put the two screws through the holes on the lens tree bracket, and re-install. The improvement is immediately obvious and your eternal reward for caring.

One does want a hint of color

Installed this along with the Eddie Cards and Mummy (the yellow gradient one) brackets. I didn't do the fireball or lightning mods - the fireball install looked difficult (in hindsight, it's probably not), and the lightning mod, I'm ok with that being white. In general I agree with the original sentiment of there being too much white in the middle of the playfield.

One install tip, IDK if it helps or not - it was hard to get the brackets to stay in place when you're trying to reattach the board - I used a tiny bit of wood glue (a toothpick tip dipped into a drop of glue) on the area by the screws - it held the bracket in place long enough.

IMHO a worthy mod for your Iron Maiden machine
