RUSH factory scoop protectors have been a problem since day one, bending and breaking, not to mention scratching and marring the playfield below they were supposed to protect. As of right now there is no good final solution to address the factory-created problem, but that doesn't stop the desire to play the game, so this mylar is custom cut to replace the metal protectors and shield your playfield scoop area as much as possible while you wait for a permanent fix.
This protector is cut to fit both scoops right up to the point the scoop bevel into the holes start. Just peel off the backing and line it up with the scoop edge, then press into place by sliding something like the edge of credit card over it to remove any air bubbles and make the mylar virtually invisible.
It is *strongly* recommended that if you go this mylar route while waiting for a final protector, you ALSO coat the exposed wood inside the scoop hole with Sally Hansens Hard as Nails CLEAR nail polish to provide extra protection from ball hits going into the hole. Tape off the top of the the playfield around the hole with blue painter's tape to prevent getting any polish on top of the playfield as you apply it.
