LED lighting has been a great improvement in pinball, but sometimes when there is too much white, it breaks the harmonious union of the playfield art and the inserts. Upon playing STAR WARS, that is the feeling I had with the FORCE targets. It was a distraction when playing the game because the bright white LED light overpowered everything in the area. They were a source of so much light, my Shaolin brothers demanded I turn the machine off when not in use since it spoiled the tranquil night darkness of the monastery, reflecting for some distance down the halls.
And so, I fashioned a bracket to apply color to those targets and provide a harmonious gradient progression of blue to that area of the playfield. I also made a dual-color split for the Lightsaber Duel insert to give it both red and blue areas to match the mode itself.
This bracket slips over the light board standoffs for easy installation, and will bring the harmony so desperately needed to the FORCE targets and playfield art on your machine.
